6. Reporting delays
Certain data displayed on hedg3 reflects statutory reporting windows: quarterly institutional holdings disclosures are reported with a delay of up to 45 days after quarter-end; congressional trade disclosures with a delay of up to 45 days; insider transaction filings within about two business days of the underlying trade.
7. Data sources
hedg3 aggregates data from public filings and licensed vendors: public-company, insider, institutional-holdings, and IPO disclosures via SEC EDGAR; congressional trade disclosures via Quiver Quantitative, with the U.S. House Office of the Clerk as a fallback source; federal lobbying, government-contract, and retail-sentiment data via the U.S. Senate Lobbying Disclosure database, USAspending.gov, and ApeWisdom; economic series via FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis); fundamentals, dividends, corporate actions, news, and the earnings calendar via a licensed market-data vendor; analyst ratings via a licensed ratings provider; and real-time equity and options market data via a licensed exchange -data vendor, with options quotes sourced from OPRA. Vendor attributions also appear alongside the relevant data where the provider's licence requires it.
